Conor McGregor may never fight again according to UFC President Dana White.

“Mystic Mac” has not stepped foot inside the octagon since defeating Eddie Alvarez for the promotions lightweight title at UFC 205 in November of 2016.

McGregor’s most recent combat sports appearance came this past summer when he took his talents to the squared circle in a bout against undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

The Irish star would end up losing his professional boxing debut to Mayweather via tenth-round TKO. With that said, McGregor made a boatload of cash for his efforts, earning upwards of $100 million for his boxing match with “Money”.

Dana White recently discussed the topic of Conor McGregor’s future in an interview with Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole where he revealed that the 29-year-old Irish star may never fight again.

“Listen, Conor McGregor may never fight again.” Stated White. “Try getting up in the morning with $100 million in the bank and getting punched in the face every day.”

If Conor McGregor does decide to return to the UFC’s octagon he is expected to have a title unification bout with current interim title holder Tony Ferguson.
