Dana White offers Conor McGregor an opportunity to still fight at UFC 200
The Internet has blown up with everything Conor McGregor since the UFC featherweight champion tweeted on Tuesday out of nowhere that he has “decided to retire young.”
UFC President Dana White announced later on Tuesday that McGregor was pulled off of the UFC 200 main event versus Nate Diaz stating that McGregor was unwilling to do a press conference for UFC 200 this week.
However, White made a public announcement directed at “The Notorious” while appearing on the “The Herd” on Wednesday. White said that if McGregor called him today to clear everything up, they could “probably” work things out and still fight at UFC 200. White added that they are spending $10 million in promotion for the historic UFC 200 card.
White: Yeah if he called me after this interview we would probably still do it. We're spending $10 million in promotion for #ufc200.
