There is no mystery on who UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson wants to fight next in the Octagon. Following his interim title win over Kevin Lee at UFC 216 back in October, “El Cucuy” lashed out at UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor in his post-fight Octagon speech.

“Where you at McNuggets, ya f**king piece of s**t,” Ferguson screamed into the mic while being interviewed by Joe Rogan. “I’m gonna kick your ass. You better come and f**king defend that belt. Defend or vacate, motherf**ker!”

UFC President Dana White spoke with members of the media in Las Vegas on Tuesday and made sure to remind Ferguson who calls the shots in the UFC.

Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal tweeted a quote from White directed at Ferguson’s demands.

“Ferguson has no business to talk about anything. We ain’t taking direction from Tony Ferguson.” – Dana on Tony Ferguson’s demands McGregor defends the belt or vacates it

With quite a bit of news coming from White on Tuesday, the UFC President also made an interesting statement about McGregor and his future in the UFC. White said he is still unsure if McGregor will ever return to compete in the UFC given how much money he has made in his career and in particular with his last multi-million dollar fight in the boxing ring against Floyd Mayweather.
