EXCLUSIVE | Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal says Conor McGregor has no chance against Floyd Mayweather

The talk of a dream match between UFC superstar Conor McGregor and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather still has fans arguing about the outcome of a competition between the two icons.

With Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal’s background doing some training with Floyd Mayweather’s The Money Team, “King Mo” was recently asked by BJPenn.com Radio host “Kinch” what his thoughts were on the much talked about matchup between Mayweather and UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

“Yeah right, like for what? Floyd’s retired. I don’t think he’s gonna come back,” Lawal said. “I’ve talked to Floyd a few times. I think he’s retired. I don’t see him coming back and I don’t see who would sanction the McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather [fight] at all.”

Regarding if McGregor would stand any chance against the undefeated Mayweather in the boxing ring if the bout were to actually take place, Lawal could hardly take the question seriously.

“Come on man, let’s be serious,” Lawal said. “You really asking me that question? There are guys like Canelo and guys that been boxing their whole lives, just boxing, that didn’t fair well with Floyd. When Floyd fought Canelo, he really won 120-108 but one judge was just blinded and called it a draw,” Lawal said of the 2013 bout. “And Canelo is a beast.”

Lawal went on to mention the list of Mayweather’s opponents that he toppled over to remain undefeated to this day.

“Look at what he did to Pacquiao. He pretty much shut Pacquiao down. Look at what he did to Diego Corrales, Genaro Hernandez, Maidana, Mosley. The list goes on. He beat De La Hoya up a weight class. I’m a boxing head so we hear about it, know what I’m saying? 49-0 for a reason.”
