Fans share concern for UFC star Conor McGregor following “Road House” interview with Jake Gyllenhaal
A recent Conor McGregor interview promoting the “Road House” film has been looked at under a microscope by fight fans.
McGregor has been making the media rounds for the movie, which was released on Prime Video on March 21. The “Notorious” is co-stars with Jake Gyllenhaal for the remake of the 1989 film. While McGregor is no stranger to the bright lights, he has admitted that Hollywood is a different beast in terms of what’s expected from actors on the set.
Perhaps the rigors of the movie industry have taken a toll on McGregor, as some fans are concerned over his recent interview with Sports Illustrated.
Conor McGregor Interview Draws Concern From Fans
Alongside Jake Gyllenhaal for the interview, Conor McGregor appeared to be drained, and it could’ve been from the rough schedule he’s had to endure due to his obligations. While the concern might be much ado about nothing, some fans believe something else is at play.

McGregor has insisted that he’s locked in to return to the Octagon this summer. Michael Chandler has said that he will do battle with McGregor during the hottest season of the year. UFC CEO Dana White revealed to Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo that conversations for “Mystic Mac’s” return to fighting would take place once McGregor wraps up his media obligations for “Road House.” Hopefully, we do indeed see the former two-division UFC champion back to swinging leather soon.
