‘Mystic Mac’ gave Dana White a pretty bold prediction for his battle with Mayweather

Earlier this week, UFC President Dana White posted to Instagram, sharing a photo of himself and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor. The two crossed paths on the tarmac at LAX. McGregor was arriving from Ireland to partake in the first of the four stops on his multi-city press tour with Floyd Mayweather, who he will box on August 26.

According to White, he and McGregor had a quick chat about this blockbuster boxing match. While McGregor is not being given much of a chance by many people, the Irishman himself is apparently full of his typical confidence.

“Last night I landed at LAX and Conor landed at the same time from Ireland,” White said on Fox Sports 1’s Speak For Yourself (via MMAFighting.com). We both landed at the same time and I was waiting for him to get out of the plane. He gets off a flight from Ireland, looks like he was just fitted at Armani, walks off the plan and says, ‘I will knock this man out within four rounds.”’

White also stated that he has no problem believing McGregor’s bold prediction.

“Conor is a madman,” he said. “Conor is a madman. He’s gonna let Floyd know what he’s gonna do and how he’s gonna do it and everybody’s been saying to me this whole time, “‘Do you think that Conor can really beat Floyd Mayweather?’ Pacquiao just got beat by a school teacher, okay.”

“I stopped doubting Conor McGregor a long time ago.”

Do you think Conor McGregor can defy his critics – and the betting odds – and knock out Floyd Mayweather this August 26?
