Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor 2 betting odds released for their expected UFC 200 rematch
Nate Diaz was a huge underdog according to the betting odds going into the UFC 196 main event against UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
It looks like Diaz will be getting the underdog role once again even after submitting McGregor in the second round of their first match.
MMA Junkie reported that “Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has Irish titleholder McGregor as a -162 (8/13) favorite over +125 (5/4) underdog Diaz, according to oddschecker.com.”
Although the rematch has not been officially announced, all reports are leading to Diaz and McGregor fighting in the main event at UFC 200 in a non-title welterweight title rematch.
Ariel Helwani has said that “the reason that this fight is happening at 170-pounds is because, to be frank, Conor Mcgregor is a bit of a wild man. He wants, he is obsessed with the idea that he lost to Nate Diaz at 170-pounds. He feels like he should have won and he wants the same circumstances, same rules, same stipulations. He wants to do it again and he wants to prove that he is the better man.”
