Opening Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez betting odds
With Conor McGregor’s UFC 202 win over Nate Diaz, the featherweight champ has a few options.
While UFC President Dana White has stated that McGregor will return to featherweight for a title unification fight with Jose Aldo, McGregor has remained noncommittal on his return to 145.
One of the options that seems to be immediately available to McGregor is a lightweight title fight with UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, who wasn’t impressed with McGregor’s win over Nate Diaz.
While the fight is far from official, Bovada has released the opening betting odds for a potential fight between the two. McGregor opened as a -185 favorite, while the lightweight champ is a +150 underdog.
To simplify the above-mentioned numbers, it would take a $185 bet on McGregor to win $100, while a $100 bet on Alvarez would potentially win you $150.
