Michael Bisping believes Conor McGregor was “out of his mind on the pain pills” during his altercation with Machine Gun Kelly at the VMA’s. McGregor (22-6 MMA) was involved in a scuffle with the multi-platinum recording artist at last weekend’s MTV Music Awards. While the altercation did not result in anything serious, it was another incident that had some fans alarmed.

Dana White weighed in on the Conor McGregor – Machine Gun Kelly altercation at VMA’s, calling it a “misunderstanding or whatever it was.” McGregor and MGK got into an incident at the MTV VMAs this past weekend in New York. The incident involved McGregor throwing his drink at MGK and the two then jawed back-and-forth with each other before being separated. According to reports, the incident took place because McGregor had exchanged some DMs with MGK’s partner, Megan Fox. It was so highly publicized that the sportsbooks are now even offering odds up for a potential “celebrity boxing” match between McGregor and MGK following the heated incident.

It was a disappointing result for their trilogy to end and since then, the Irishman has been focused on his recovery. Although the injury only happened two months ago, the Irishman says his recovery has been going well.

McGregor then threw his drink at Kelly and the two then got into an altercation and they were forced to be separated.

UFC analyst Michael Bisping advised promotional superstar Conor McGregor to ‘take a tune-up fight’ next, and he named his ideal opponent. McGregor broke his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July in what was the trilogy fight between the two rivals. Following the fight, which was McGregor’s second straight TKO defeat to Poirier, the Irishman has had harsh words to say about Poirier, his wife, and his team. Clearly, McGregor is gunning for a fourth fight whenever he is able to return from his broken leg in 2022, but if you ask Bisping, he should take another fight before Poirier.

When a fan asked McGregor about being a big-time PPV seller, McGregor gave out the information that he has only two UFC fights left on his deal. For the Irishman, he says he holds eight of the top-10 UFC PPV records right now, and he wants to use his last two fights to claim the entire top-10.

Paul defeated Woodley via split decision on Sunday night in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a closely-contested boxing match that went the full eight-round distance, but Paul did a little bit more during the fight and earned the split nod on the scorecards. With Paul now having a big win over Woodley on his resume, it will give him the extra ammunition needed in order to capture the interest of the biggest-named fighters in the sport. And of course, the biggest out there right now is arguably McGregor, so he against Paul would be a big fight.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor reacted following the split decision verdict in the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley boxing match on Sunday night. Paul defeated Woodley via split decision in a closely fought fight between the former YouTuber and the former UFC welterweight champion. It was a competitive match for the eight rounds that it went, but ultimately Paul did a little bit more and won the decision. Now that Paul got his hand raised and has a big name like Woodley on his resume, it just might give him the ammunition he needs to attract even bigger names in the fight game going forward. And there is arguably not a bigger name in combat sports than McGregor.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor has seemingly squashed his beef with Daniel Cormier, tweeting out to “respect Daniel, carry on, God bless.” McGregor has been taking some shots on social media as of late at several other fighters, and Cormier was one of the ones who he had some critical things to say about, including suggesting that DC was intoxicated before a pre-UFC 264 media event. It looks like the Irishman and DC are finally squashing their beef, however. On Wednesday, Cormier took to his podcast with Ryan Clark to release his list of the top-five must-see fighters in UFC history, and the man who was at the top of the list was McGregor. It was seemingly an example of DC extending an olive brand, and it looks like McGregor has accepted it.

UFC welterweight Kevin Lee reacted to MMA superstar Conor McGregor’s recent downfall in the UFC, saying “Drugs are a hell of a thing.” McGregor suffered two straight TKO defeats to his rival Dustin Poirier this year alone, with him losing via second-round knockout at UFC 257 in January and then losing via first-round doctor stoppage TKO at UFC 264 in July when he broke his leg. In the wake of his loss to Poirier, McGregor has been taking to social media to make numerous comments and remarks about a number of different fighters, including Poirier and Daniel Cormier. As far as Lee goes, he sees a man who is frustrated, and one who has been changed by drugs.
