UFC lightweight superstar Conor McGregor announced the birth of his third child Rian in a social media post on Monday morning. McGregor and his fiancee Dee Devlin already have two children, four-year-old son Conor Junior and two-year-old daughter Croia. They have now welcomed their third child to the world as “Notorious” took to his Instagram to share a photo of his new son, Rian.

Conor McGregor has been named as the highest-paid athlete in 2021, and he made $22 million for the Dustin Poirier rematch at UFC 257. Forbes reported that in the last 12 months, McGregor has made $180 million total, which makes him the highest-paid athlete in the world. According to the report, McGregor made $150 million when he sold Proper No. Twelve to Proximo Spirits. In addition to that $150 million, McGregor also made $22 million for his rematch against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 earlier this year, a fight that he lost by knockout. The remaining $8 million that McGregor made came from a combination of his endorsements including Draft Kings, Roots of Fight, and Dystopia: Contest of Heroes. It’s fair to say it’s been a good 12 months for McGregor.

UFC star Conor McGregor believes his first fight against Dustin Poirier was the easiest fight of his career thus far. McGregor is set to square off against Dustin Poirier for the third time in their trilogy bout at UFC 264 this summer. UFC superstar Conor McGregor called out Gregor Gillespie over his “best fisherman in MMA remarks,” and then Dustin Poirier also chimed in. Gillespie finished Diego Ferreira in the second round of a back-and-forth fight at UFC Vegas 26 that saw “The Gift” return to the win column for the first time in over two years. With Ferreira coming in overweight, Gillespie was already at a disadvantage right from the start of this fight. But he was able to weather the early storm then take the fight into deep waters and finish Ferreira late in the second round for another fantastic performance.

Seven years later, they met at UFC 257 in January 2021 and this time, Poirier returned the favor with a second-round TKO. The third fight between these two will decide once and for all who the better fighter is. The stakes are high and this is going to be one of the year’s biggest fights.

UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier thanked rival Conor McGregor for his charitable donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana. Poirier recently took to his social media to reveal that McGregor’s $500,000 donation to “The Good Fight Foundation” never came through despite his team suggesting the money had been sent. McGregor then put Poirier on blast for his comments and threatened to break apart their fight at UFC 264. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and the fight remains intact. Still, there was that question about the charity money that McGregor promised floating out there. Now, we know McGregor has made good on his word.

In the lead-up to McGregor and Poirier’s rematch at UFC 257, the Irishman said he would be donating $500k to Poirier’s charity. However, just recently, “The Diamond” revealed the Irishman never donated. After some back-and-forth, Poirier apologized for his public spat with McGregor.

A drug dealer impersonating Conor McGregor has been handed a three-year jail sentence in relation to drug trafficking charges. Mark Nye, a 34-year-old man from Surrey, was pulled over by police after being caught in possession of Class A drugs in addition to two phones that proved his crimes. When he was pulled over, the police were told his name was “Conor”, before finding business cards that said “McGregor Enterprise” on the front.

On Saturday night at UFC 261, Usman earned another successful title defense when he knocked out rival Jorge Masvidal in the second round of their welterweight title fight. It was an amazing win by Usman and proved once again that he’s the top dog in the UFC at 170lbs. The day after the fight, McGregor took to his social media to say that he wants to go up to welterweight later this year after winning the lightweight belt. McGregor has called out Usman in the past and it’s no surprise to see him the Irishman doing so once again.
