Tony Ferguson is not happy that Dustin Poirier will be fighting Conor McGregor. For weeks, Ferguson and Poirier were linked fighting one another at UFC 254. Yet, the UFC and Poirier could not come to terms on pay. Poirier and Ferguson were then working with one another to get each other paid properly to set up a fight. Yet, on Thursday, Conor McGregor and Poirier agreed to fight one another which “El Cucuy” didn’t like.

It appears Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor will fight for a second time later this year. Over the last couple of weeks, McGregor and Poirier talked about an exhibition sparring match to raise funds for charity. Yet, UFC president, Dana White said he would offer them to make that fight happen and on social media, McGregor has revealed he has accepted the fight and called for it to happen at UFC 255 or 256.

The pair even briefly floated the notion of a charity exhibition match in McGregor’s hometown of Dublin.

The world’s most famous mixed martial artist, Ireland’s own Conor McGregor, was reportedly denied entry to an Italian gym. Italian publication Città della Spezia reported that the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion was denied when he sought a place to train for a week.

It appears the UFC wanted Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor to be the coaches on the return of The Ultimate Fighter according to Ali Abdelaziz. For months now, Dana White has been adamant that TUF will be brought back. Originally, Paulo Costa’s team called for him to coach against Israel Adesanya but White wanted McGregor to coach against the winner of Nurmagomedov-Gaethje.

White said releasing the images was a dirty thing to do and McGregor fired back at the UFC president. It’s a big mess, and the biggest problem is it doesn’t get McGregor any closer to fighting. McGregor said in the texts that it was a fight that interested him but White said the UFC would lose its promoter’s license if they booked it. The fight never came to be, and McGregor is now reportedly in negotiations to box against boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
