The brawl sparked when Nurmagomedov leapt over the cage and attacked Danis, and continued when McGregor swapped punches with Tukhugov and Nurmagomedov inside the cage.

Press Release — UFC today announced that UFC 229: KHABIB vs. MCGREGOR generated $86.4 million in economic impact for the Las Vegas metropolitan area, according to a study conducted by research firm Applied Analysis. This marks the largest economic impact for a single UFC event measured globally to date. UFC 229: KHABIB vs. MCGREGOR, which took place on Saturday, October 6, at T-Mobile Arena, set new records for attendance (20,034) and ticket revenue ($17,188,894) for UFC in Las Vegas. In addition to the $86.4 million in total economic output, the study concluded that the landmark event also contributed $17.2 million in salaries and wagesand supported an estimated 414 jobs in the Southern Nevada market. Visitors attending events related to UFC 229: KHABIB vs. MCGREGOR were responsible for an estimated $3.7 million in public revenues in Nevada.

And this time around, McGregor answered. Evidently impressed by Cerrone’s victory over Hernandez, Conor McGregor announced that he is willing to accept the fight.

In the wake of this shockingly short super fight, fans seem to be divided. There are some fans who are simply impressed with the dominant performance of Henry Cejudo, while others seem to feel the fight was stopped early and that TJ Dillashaw should have been given more time.

Ever since Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, there’s been question as to whether or not he’ll ever return to the Octagon. While he seems to be quite interested in doing so, it’s hard to ignore that he’s making mountains of money outside of fighting and has no fiscal reason to return to this face-punching racket. In the opinion of Nurmagomedov’s head coach Javier Mendez, however, the best option available is a rematch with Conor McGregor, who Nurmagomedov defeated at UFC 229 on October 6. “I look at this as more of a prizefight than I do sport,” Javier Mendez told Off The Brawl,outlining his pick for the next fight of Khabib Nurmagomedov. “I want the biggest prizefight and the biggest prizefight hands down is, there’s no comparison, it’s Conor. Obviously, I want a rematch, because that’s what it is, the biggest prizefight, right? Because of what happened the last time there’s more interest on the second one, there’s a rematch to be had. For me, I would rather have that.”
