In the wake of UFC 196, we now know that Conor McGregor will drop back down to featherweight to defend his UFC featherweight championship, however there has been no word yet on whether Jose Aldo or Frankie Edgar will contest for the belt.
In addition, Nate Diaz has been campaigning for a fight with Georges St-Pierre, something Tristar gym head coach Firas Zahabi is open to, which has lead many MMA fans to wonder if the fight will go down at UFC 200.
In addition, Tim Kennedy has been campaigning for a fight against Anderson Silva on the card, however there has been no indication from The Spider’s camp as to whether or not Silva is interested in competing at the event.
