Renato Moicano responds to praise from UFC star Conor McGregor: “I used to hate you”
Renato Moicano certainly garnered some attention following his hilarious post-fight speech at UFC Vegas 85, and he even had Conor McGregor chuckling.
Moicano was in action this past Saturday against a dangerous Drew Dober. After three rounds of action, it was Moicano who had his hand raised via unanimous decision. Few could’ve anticipated what Moicano would say during his post-fight interview given he’s been quite the character as of late. The Brazilian submission artist did not disappoint, delivering a post-fight speech that fans won’t soon forget.
During his interview with UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier, Moicano revealed that his 62-year-old father just had a baby, and he said he’s now inspired to get his wife pregnant to keep the world populated. Moicano then urged the American people to go to church and have kids or the United States will become a third-world country. He also mentioned wanting to join the SWAT team.

“Wow! He has a new little baby brother! That’s awesome! Fair play Moiciano Snr hahaha”‘
Renato Moicano responded to McGregor, admitting that he didn’t understand the “Notorious” one’s trash talking at first, but now he gets it.

Moicano has now won two in a row. This was Moicano’s first fight since November 2022. He was going to meet Arman Tsarukyan in April of last year before suffering an injury. Now that he’s beaten Dober and seemingly has some new fans, it’ll be interesting to see how UFC matchmakers book Moicano going forward. In the meantime, he will continue his quest to populate the world.
