Report: Despite setback in Stockton, UFC is still targeting Diaz vs. McGregor rematch for UFC 202
The UFC is trying to put together a Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz rematch for their UFC 202 pay-per-view card later this summer.
The UFC bosses had a ‘good meeting’ with Conor McGregor earlier this week in Los Angeles, but apparently hit a speed-bump when they met with Nate Diaz in Stockton, California.
According to MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani, despite the setback in Stockton, the UFC is still targeting a Diaz vs. McGregor rematch for UFC 202:
UFC 202 has been targeted but it's not close to done, as we reported Friday. Bit of a speed bump in Stockton but not dead at all.

Nate Diaz submitted Conor McGregor in the second-round of their main event fight at UFC 196 this past March in Las Vegas.
The setback marked the UFC featherweight champions first loss inside the octagon.
