UFC 229 Live Results: McGregor vs. Khabib

The octagon returns to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for tonight’s UFC 229 event which is headlined by former two-division champion Conor McGregor returning to challenge current lightweight title holder Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Tonight’s highly anticipated UFC 229 event will mark the first time that Conor McGregor (21-3 MMA) has competed in the octagon since defeating Eddie Alvarez via second-round knockout at UFC 205 in November of 2016.

Meanwhile, Khabib Nurmagomedov (26-0 MMA) was last seen in action at April’s UFC 223 event in Brooklyn, where he defeated Al Iaquinta via unanimous decision to capture the promotions vacant 155-pound title.

In the co-main event of tonight’s UFC 229 fight card, former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson will return to battle former 155-pound kingpin Anthony Pettis.
