UFC releases statement on how fans can get a better chance of buying tickets for Mayweather vs McGregor on July 24

Tickets for the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight have not been released to the general public yet but will surely sell out quickly when they go on sale on July 24.

Prices range from a limited amount of $500 seats up to $10,000 seats, according to what Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe stated during the world tour last week.

With tickets sure to go quick, the UFC released the following statement on Wednesday to give fans a better chance of buying directly from the source:

With the July 24 on-sale date for tickets to the Super Fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor approaching, the promotion has teamed up with Ticketmaster to keep tickets in the hands of fans, not scalpers, through the Verified Fan program.

By registering through Ticketmaster (click here), fans will have the opportunity to receive a unique offer code and link to use when purchasing tickets for this historic event at 10am on Monday, July 24.

To receive a code, fans must first be verified through the registration process. Registering does not guarantee you will receive a code, nor have the ability to purchase tickets. A two (2) ticket limit per offer code will allow as many fans as possible to enjoy Mayweather vs. McGregor.

Registration closes on Thursday, July 20 at 10 p.m. PT.
