“Mystic Mac” will be attempting to reclaim the 155-pound title when he squares off with the undefeated “Eagle” next Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

While Conor McGregor has clearly been focused on his training for Khabib, the brash Irishman has also found time to promote his new brand of Irish Whiskey “Proper Twelve”.

The former featherweight and lightweight world champion, McGregor, initially promoted his new whiskey at the UFC 229 press conference in New York.

That afternoon, McGregor, along with UFC President Dana White, announced that “Proper Twelve” would be a sponsor of the October 6 event and will be advertised inside of the octagon.

Today, Conor McGregor released the following commercial for his “Proper Twelve” whiskey and it is pretty awesome.

“I want to give this to the world as a gift from myself and from Ireland. This is who I am. I am an Irishman. A true Irishman. Proper, proper Irish whiskey. Proper twelve. It’s in the name. Twelve is the district I come from. It is a small suburb in Dublin, Ireland called Crumlin. It’s a place dear to my heart. With each bottle and with each case we sell we will give back to the first responders. They are the people who are entering the buildings when people are running out. That is heroic to me.” – Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor will return to the octagon next Saturday for the first time since defeating Eddie Alvarez via second-round knockout at UFC 205 in November of 2016.

The former “champ champ” has made it clear that he plans on laying a “bad beating” on his undefeated Russian opponent at next weekend’s UFC 229 event.
