Video | Michael Chandler cuts amazing promo on Conor McGregor live on WWE Monday Night RAW
Michael Chandler continues to call for a fight with Conor McGregor and this time, he did so live on WWE Monday Night RAW.
The WWE was in Anaheim on Monday, two days after the UFC 298 pay-per-view event, so Chandler decided to remain in the city and used his camera time to the best of his ability. Chandler grabbed the mic from the announcer and cut an awesome promo to try and secure a fight with the Irishman.

“Hey, what’s up Anaheim? Hey, you are now in the presence of the most entertaining UFC fighter on the planet. There is a man from Ireland that has been making me wait for way too long, and I still got one dude on my mind. Conor McGregor get your candy ass back to the Octagon! We got some unfinished business boy. God bless. I’ll see you at the top,” Michael Chandler said on WWE.
Michael Chandler has been campaigning for a fight with Conor McGregor for over a year now as the two were supposed to collide after serving as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter. This past New Year’s Eve the Irishman had taken to social media to announce that he would be fighting ‘Iron’ on June 29. However, Dana White quickly shut down McGregor’s announcement, and now after Saturday night’s event in Anaheim, the UFC CEO said that getting the Irishman to fight again could be a problem.
“First problem was that he broke that shin bone. He was recovering from that. That was one of the reasons,” White said after UFC 298. “The other problem is he’s f*****g rich… Conor McGregor’s got a lot of money. Any time we get Conor, we’ll be happy. You know, we’ll be thrilled when he comes and fights. Money complicates a lot of things. He just filmed a movie. He’s got to do the press for the movie, and he’s got obligations with that. He does want to fight this year, but we’ll see what happens.”
Although Dana White isn’t sure when or if Conor McGregor will fight again, Michael Chandler still seems adamant that it will happen and continues to call for the matchup.
Michael Chandler is currently 23-8 and coming off a submission loss to Dustin Poirier in November of 2022. The former Bellator lightweight champion is 2-3 in the UFC with knockout wins over Dan Hooker and Tony Ferguson, while his other two losses came to Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira for the title.
