Cris Cyborg refutes Donn Davis’ claim that their business relationship is totally fine: “I want a meeting in person”
MMA legend Cris Cyborg has refuted the idea that her relationship with PFL boss Donn Davis is in a positive place.
For years now, Cris Cyborg has been known as one of the biggest female stars in the history of mixed martial arts. Her resume speaks for itself, and now, she’s also kickstarted a venture into the world of boxing.
Of course, she isn’t expected to carry on forever, but PFL’s recent purchase of Bellator certainly opened up a few doors for her. One idea that many wanted to see take place was a superfight with Kayla Harrison, but with Harrison signing for the UFC, it no longer seems like that’s a possibility.
Recently, PFL’s Donn Davis claimed that he and Cris were on good terms. In response, Cyborg had the following to say.
I do not think our relationship is totally fine or in any type of a good place.@DonnDavisPFL @PeteMurrayPFL
I want a meeting in person.
Let me know when you are available.
I am healthy and ready to fight and @PFLMMA or @BellatorMMA are not promoting a fight for me.… https://t.co/bGfWwUjGAK

Cyborg responds to Davis
“I do not think our relationship is totally fine or in any type of a good place. @DonnDavis @PeteMurrayPFL. I want a meeting in person. Let me know when you are available. I am healthy and ready to fight and @PFLMMA or @BellatorMMA are not promoting a fight for me. @srjsports @combate”
Cris Cyborg is the kind of fighter who knows her worth. She has spent years building up her brand and at this point in her career, she knows that it’s good to be smart about her decisions. Hopefully, one way or the other, we see her get back into the cage later this year against a worthy opponent.
