‘Cyborg’ making Dominick Cruz look small in recent side-by-side photo
Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino has arrived in Brazil for Saturday night’s main event fight with Lina Lansberg. Just a day before weigh-ins, ‘Cyborg’ had a photo taken of her with bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, who was in town to serve as color commentator for UFC Fight Night 95.

As of Thursday morning, ‘Cyborg’ still had 10 pounds left to lose before being able to make 140 pounds for her catch-weight bout with Lansberg. Both women are featherweights and typically fight at 145 pounds, however the UFC doesn’t have a woman’s featherweight division, and according to president Dana White, there won’t be one anytime soon.
Cruz fights at 135 pounds and currently holds the bantamweight strap after wresting the title from TJ Dillashaw in a close fight in January 2016. His next fight has yet to be made official, but it appears that Cody Garbrandt may be the first man to get a shot at Cruz’s belt.
‘Cyborg’s weight has been a controversial issue throughout fight week following revelations that her nutritionist George Lockhart had her taking birth control pills for her weight cut. She admitted to weighing 175 pounds when she began her training camp, and began the grueling process of losing the 25 pounds to make 140 pounds on Monday.
What do you think about ‘Cyborg’s’ photograph with Dominick Cruz? Were you surprised to see how big she is next to an average-sized male bantamweight? Sound off in the comments section, PENN Nation!
