UFC president Dana White outlined the potential options for Israel Adesanya, noting the UFC middleweight champion has “got a lot of options.” Adesanya is undefeated with a 20-0 record and coming off of a brilliant TKO performance over Paulo Costa at UFC 253, his star power has never been higher. With the UFC having a fully-blown superstar here in Adesanya, he looks poised to be booked for a big fight his next time out. Whether it’s fighting at middleweight to defend his belt again or moving up to light heavyweight for superfights, Adesanya has plenty of options out there right now.

UFC president Dana White confirmed that The Ultimate Fighter will commence filming in November, but he says there are no coaches yet. White has been teasing a TUF comeback for several months now. The UFC’s infamous reality show from 2005 to 2018, TUF has been kicked to the can for two years now and on the back burner following the UFC leaving FOX for ESPN. Now that the UFC is fully entrenched on ESPN and ESPN+, White has said for a while now that the promotion would be bringing the show back. Now we have a better idea of when TUF is returning.

UFC President Dana White has shut down Mike Perry’s plan to auction off a spot in his corner for his fight with Robbie Lawler. Perry is scheduled to take on Lawler, the former UFC welterweight champion, at UFC 255. Ahead of the fight, he announced plans to auction off a spot in his corner for his fight. The premise was simple: The highest bidder would join his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez in his corner between rounds.

UFC president Dana White confirmed that the winner of The Korean Zombie vs. Brian Ortega will be the next No. 1 contender at 145lbs. Zombie and Ortega meet this Saturday night in the main event of UFC Fight Island 6. Both men are former featherweight title challengers and will be looking to get another crack at the belt currently held by UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski. There have been whispers that the winner of this fight would be the No. 1 contender, and now White has confirmed the winner of the fight gets a title shot in an interview with ESPN.

UFC president Dana White handed out four “Performance of the Night” bonuses following a plethora of finishes at UFC Fight Island 5. There was something in the water on Fight Island on Saturday night, as all 26 fighters who were on the card put on a show. It was an absolutely incredible night of fights that saw a number of fighters pull off some amazing finishes. Although bonuses could have been given to at least 10 fighters, White and the UFC had to whittle down the list to just four.

UFC 253 goes down this Saturday and will mark the first event of the promotion’s second stint on the highly publicized Fight Island—Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. The promotion held it’s first four events on Fight Island during a three-week period in July. This time around, the promotion will be on the island for a five-week span, featuring five events, and it looks like White will be very comfortable for the duration of his visit.
