Smith, even asking UFC President Dana White for the opportunity to meet the broadcast personality inside the Octagon. @ufc @danawhite hey how do I challenge a couple of these clowns on tv to a fight? I think we should start a business together. Where pro athletes can challenge some of these people to an octagon fight until they give us an answer…. You don’t know me… stop lying.

On Tuesday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) convened to make crucial decisions on the futures of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones. The NSAC began by disciplining Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov for their UFC 229 post-fight brawl. McGregor received a $50,000 fine and a six month suspension, while Nurmagomedov received a much steeper $500,000 fine and a nine-month suspension that can be reduced to six months if he completes an anti-bullying PSA.

Former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington was recently mentioned as a potential opponent for Darren Till — that was before Till was booked to fight Covington’s training partner Jorge Masvidal. Covington, however, was not interested in this fight, maintaining that, as the recent interim champion, he has earned a title shot against undisputed champ Tyron Woodley.

After being deprived of his promised shot at the UFC welterweight title, top contender Colby Covington has had plenty to say about UFC President Dana White of late. Of course, Covington isn’t the only person to make negative comments about the polarizing UFC boss recently. Retired boxer turned promoter Oscar De La Hoya has also gone back and forth with Dana White over the last few weeks, even challenging the UFC President to a fight on the undercard of the next Canelo Alvarez pay-per-view.

Henry Cejudo needed only 32 seconds to defend his UFC flyweight title against UFC bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw in Saturday night’s UFC Brooklyn main event. Regrettably, Cejudo’s stoppage victory was somewhat controversial, as some members of the MMA community felt the referee stepped in early. Dillashaw certainly feels this way — and apparently he told UFC President Dana White as much when the fight ended. “He just yelled at me while I was doing an interview when he walked by, ‘That’s bullshit,’” White said post-fight (transcript via MMA Fighting). “I thought it was an early stoppage too.

In the lead-up to this fight with Cejudo, Dillashaw has repeatedly mentioned that he’s interested in eventually moving up to the featherweight division to battle local champ Max Holloway for a third UFC belt.

De La Hoya did not hesitate to share his thoughts with UFC President Dana White on Twitter, reminding the UFC boss of his opinion that “pay-per-view is dead.”

Instead, the card goes down inside The Forum, in Inglewood, California, outside Los Angeles. That’s because the UFC moved the card, in its entirety, from one city to the other, after the Nevada State Athletic Commission refused to license former UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones for his main event title fight with Alexander Gustafsson. This unprecedented move, which occurred on just six days’ notice, caused massive headaches for fighters and fans alike — but UFC President Dana White says that “means nothing” to him. “When I pull the trigger, man, we roll,” Dana White told MMAjunkie of the controversial decision to move UFC 232 from Las Vegas to LA. “I don’t ever go, ‘We made the wrong decision.’ I don’t listen to criticism. Other people’s opinions mean nothing to me. I make decisions, and we roll. That’s it.”
