Late Wednesday, the UFC arranged a short-notice press conference to announce that UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was pulled from the main event against champion Daniel Cormier due to a “potential anti-doping violation.”
UFC President Dana White answered questions from the media to the best of his knowledge.
More information on what the “potential anti-doping violation” consisted of has not been released as of yet.
The UFC is working to see if they can get a late-notice fight for Daniel Cormier to fight on Saturday night. However, if Cormier does fight, it was announced on Wednesday at the press conference that Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt has been moved to the main event.
