Daniel Cormier fires back at ‘steroid cheat’ Jon Jones

By Drake Riggs - June 25, 2018

The Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones rivalry may never truly die. These two men just do not like each other…and we get to witness it.

After Cormier’s recent comments about Jones in regards to Jones’ lack of a platform, Jones got a little bit riled up as he took to Twitter with some threatening words to the current UFC light heavyweight champ.

“I don’t have a platform DC? That just sounds dumb,” Jones said. “Even after years of suspension, I have just as much if not more of a platform than you. Every win you get goes on my resume. You know who you dream about at night. I’m sure your wife knows too.

At first, I thought you were trying to convince the fans I beat you because of performance-enhancing drugs but now I’m pretty sure you have convinced yourself too,” Jones continued. “Keep doing that.

Good thing for you, the next time we fight I’ll be all cleaned up. Let’s see you dominate me this time since I cheated the first two.”

Of course, the champion didn’t take too kindly to Jones’ words. Especially the mentioning of his wife.

Cormier responded in equally aggressive fashion.

Jon, you’re a bitch! You’re one now always been one. Sit back and watch me be great, you steroid cheat. Let’s not talk about wives man. Come on, I’m sure with all the shit you’ve done I could get a conversation from your wife. I mean from your girlfriend ,baby mama?😳

I always [take the high road]. F*ck him.

While Jones awaits his inevitable USADA suspension for his failed test following UFC 214 where he and Cormier rematched, Cormier will be looking to make some history by defeating Stipe Miocic to become the new UFC heavyweight champion.
