Jon Jones apologizes to Daniel Cormier
By now the MMA world is aware that UFC pound for pound kingpin Jon Jones was pulled from UFC 200 Wednesday evening after he was notified of a potential USADA anti-doping violation.
Wednesday night, UFC President Dana White and UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier appeared at a press conference, however Jones and his team maintained silence through Thursday morning.
Thursday morning, Jones and his team fielded questions from the media in Las Vegas. During the course of the presser, Jones sent a message to his UFC 200 opponent, and rival, Daniel Cormier:
Jones: I haven't had the opp. to talk to DC. I just want to tell him that I'm sorry, that's really it. I know this fight meant a lot to him.
