Tonight’s UFC 226 event delivered some great fights, fantastic finishes and the return of Brock Lesnar.

Despite a terribly disappointing co-main event bout between Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou, tonight’s pay-per-view showcased some promotional history as Daniel Cormier was able to become the second “champ champ” in UFC history by knocking out Stipe Miocic in the main event.

If that was not enough, the UFC 226 fight card also featured a war between Mike Perry and Paul Felder, as well as a return to form for former UFC lightweight champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis.

Following the shocking conclusion to tonight’s super-fight main event, new UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier decided to callout former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who just so happened to be in attendance.

Brock stormed the octagon following Cormier’s challenge and pushed “DC” immediately upon his arrival onto the canvas.

Check it out:

Brock Lesnar has not competed inside the octagon since UFC 200 in July of 2016 when he defeated dangerous knockout artist Mark Hunt via unanimous decision.

That ruling was later overturned and made a no-contest, this after Brock Lesnar tested positive for banned substances.

Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion but clearly he has intentions of once again becoming the UFC’s heavyweight champion.
