Watch | Daniel Cormier and Israel Adesanya’s live reactions to Anthony Joshua knocking out Francis Ngannou
Former UFC champions Daniel Cormier and Israel Adesanya tuned in to watch Francis Ngannou square off with Anthony Joshua.
Ngannou (17-3 MMA, 0-2 Boxing) collided with the former WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Joshua (28-3 Boxing) in last night’s headliner in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The bout marked Ngannou’s second professional boxing match, this after he suffered a controversial split decision setback to Tyson Fury in his debut this past October.
While many fans and MMA fighters were hopeful that Francis Ngannou would be able to duplicate his performance against ‘The Gypsy King’ yesterday versus Anthony Joshua, that unfortunately did not prove to be the case.
Instead, the British heavyweight was able to make the former UFC champion look like a novice, dropping ‘The Predator’ on two occasions before putting him out cold with a right hand in Round 2 (see that here).
It was a devastating knockout, one which horrified two former UFC champions in Daniel Cormier and Israel Adesanya.
Cormier, a former two division UFC champion, was watching the event alongside Cory Sandhagen and Anthony Smith, and shared the following reaction to Anthony Joshua’s brutal KO of Francis Ngannou:

“He just dropped Francis,” Cormier proclaimed. “Oh my goodness!”
“Oh my gosh,” he continued. “Again, bro. Oh that was worse. Left hook. I think Francis might be done boys. It does not look good. Francis is hurt bad.”
“Oh sh*t,” Daniel Cormier said as the knockout blow was delivered. “Oh my god!”
Former UFC middleweight kingpin Israel Adesanya also tuned in for last night’s event. ‘The Last Stylebender’s’ reaction to the knockout can be seen below:

“Oooohhh. Damn! F**k…” – Adesanya said while watching the finish.
With last night’s victory, Joshua improved to 4-0 over his past four fights, as he had previously earned wins over Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin.
Were you as horrified as Daniel Cormier and Israel Adesanya by Anthony Joshua’s nasty knockout win over Francis Ngannou yesterday evening?
