The UFC has changed locations in order to have undefeated welterweight Darren Till fight a former title challenger in England.

Lance Pugmire of The Los Angeles Times was first to break the news reporting that a scheduled February 24 UFC event in Orlando, Florida will be moved overseas in order to have surging contender Darren Till fight in his backyard of England against former two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson.

The undefeated 24-year-old, Darren Till, was most recently seen in action in the main event of UFC Gdansk where he scored a first-round TKO victory over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

The win boosted Till’s professional mixed martial arts record to an impressive 16-0-1 and marked his first stoppage victory since making his octagon debut in May of 2015.

As for Stephen Thompson, “Wonderboy” was last seen in action this past weekend in New York where he scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over the always tough Jorge Masvidal.

Prior to that, Thompson had challenged Tyron Woodley on back-to-back occasions for the promotions welterweight title, suffering a majority decision loss and majority draw in what were two very closely contested title fights.

Who do you think will emerge victorious when Liverpool native Darren Till and former title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson throw down in England this February? Sound off PENN Nation!
