Darren Till tells Logan Paul to “f*** off” amid talk of UFC move

By Tom Taylor - August 31, 2018

Over the last few days, there has been ample discussion about YouTube star Logan Paul potentially trying his hand at MMA, perhaps even in the UFC’s Octagon. Paul, to remind, recently competed in a high-profile boxing match with fellow YouTuber KSI, and apparently also has a respectable background in wrestling.

Paul himself discussed the possibility on Twitter, explaining that he found the idea exciting.

“The thought of securing a fight in the [UFC] is exciting,” Paul said. “Could finally use my wrestling background… but i hear some other celebrities/athletes want to catch these hands first?

Logan Paul’s flirtation with the UFC has been met with mixed reactions. Some fighters, such as Sage Northcutt and Daniel Cormier, seem to welcome the idea.

“Let me know when you wanna catch these hands,” the typically polite Northcutt said on Twitter.

“Yo [Logan Paul], I know a guy and he’s barely getting started,” the reigning UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier stated on Twitter. “[Kyle Crutchmer] what you say?”

Not everybody, of course, has loved the idea of Logan Paul trying his hand at MMA.

Undefeated welterweight contender Darren Till, who is scheduled to battle Tyron Woodley for the UFC welterweight title in the main event of UFC 228 on September 8, seems particularly opposed to the notion.

“Every day is hard as fuck, every day is a little more harder on your physical & mental state,” Darren Till said of Logan Paul on Twitter. “Then ye get a cunt coming along like this YouTuber fella thinking he can mix it in the [UFC] fuck off will ye mate and don’t embarrass our sport.”

Where do you stand on the idea of Logan Paul potentially getting a shot in the UFC? Are you open to the idea like Sage Northcutt and Daniel Cormier, or against it like UFC 228’s Darren Till?
