Diego Brandao suspended 9 months, fined 30% of purse for failed drug test

Diego Brandao recently found himself as a free agent in the MMA market after he was arrested for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and assault with a deadly weapon last month.
Prior to that however, Brandao was submitted by Brian Ortega back at UFC 195. Following the fight, Brandao failed a drug test when he tested positive for marijuana.
According to Sherdog, at a NAC hearing this week Brandao was handed a 9 month suspension and fined 30% of his $36,000 purse for the failed drug test.
