James Krause isn’t a fan of Diego Sanchez’s head coach, Joshua Fabia. Sanchez recently left his entire team and the past couple of fights has only had Fabia in his corner. In his UFC 253 fight, he added Stephan Bonnar, yet it didn’t help as he was dominated by Jake Matthews to a decision loss.

UFC President Dana White was not happy that former two-division champion shared screenshots of private conversations they had previously. Earlier this week McGregor responded to a retirement fight request from Diego Sanchez by revealing some screenshots of private text messages between he and White which showcased that he had in fact previously requested the match-up.

Fabia’s pupil, former UFC title challenger Diego Sanchez (31-12 MMA), is set to return to action at tomorrow night’s highly anticipated UFC 253 event. ‘The Nightmare’ is slated to square off with Jake Matthews in a welterweight bout on the preliminary card of Saturday’s pay-per-view event.

Diego Sanchez is very impressed by the way Paulo Costa cut down to the 185-pound limit for his middleweight title fight with Israel Adesanya at UFC 253. Despite walking around at well over 200 pounds, Costa was the first fighter on the scale for the UFC 253 weigh-ins this morning. The middleweight title challenger also didn’t appear to be particularly depleted from his cut down to 185 pounds.

UFC veteran Diego Sanchez hopes to close the curtain on his mixed martial arts career by fighting former two-division champion Conor McGregor. Sanchez will return to the Octagon on the undercard of UFC 253 this Saturday on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi when he takes on Australia’s Jake Matthews. The bout will mark the first of four obligations on his latest UFC contract.

Pereira returned to the Octagon this past weekend with an incredible performance against Zelim Imadaev, ending with him submitting the Russian in the third and final round. It was the first time Pereira fought since his controversial disqualification loss to the aforementioned Sanchez in February.

Earlier this week, during an appearance on Mike Swick’s Real Quick podcast, Sanchez accused Diaz of bombarding him with hateful emails, some of which even targeted his mother and father.

Throughout the years, Sanchez has been one of the most active fighters on the entire roster, fighting at weight four weight classes: 185lbs, 170lbs, 155lbs, 145lbs. In 2009, Sanchez fought BJ Penn for the UFC lightweight title and lost the bout via fifth-round doctor stoppage.

The two had a rivalry in the lead up to the fight, but now, the 38-year-old reveals the rivalry went deeper than most realized.
