Cowboy Cerrone on Lawler fight: “It’s time to dance. Can’t f***ing wait”

Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Robbie Lawler are officially set to do battle at UFC 205 in New York City, and ‘Cowboy’ took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce his excitement over the match-up.
“It’s time to dance,” Cerrone’s tweet read before quickly deleting it. “Can’t f***ing wait.”
Lawler is making a quick turnaround after dropping the welterweight belt to Tyron Woodley, who knocked out the recently deposed champ in the first round of their UFC 201 main event.
Meanwhile, ‘Cowboy’ is 3-0 at welterweight after a long and storied career at lightweight, with all three welterweight wins coming by way of knockout or submission.
He most recently beat the brakes off of Rick Story at UFC 202, becoming the first and only man to ever finish the notoriously tough-to-finish Story with strikes.
Lawler on the other hand was on a tear of the UFC’s welterweight division as he went on a 5-fight win streak that saw him win and defend the UFC welterweight championship before being knocked out by Tyron Woodley at UFC 201.
Who will win this barnburner of a fight? Will ‘Cowboy’ remain undefeated at his new weight class, or will Lawler get back on track towards the title after a disappointing knockout loss to Woodley? Sound off in the comments section, PENN Nation!
