Poirier defeated McGregor via first-round TKO at UFC 264 earlier this month to claim the pair’s trilogy by a score of 2-1. However, the ending of the fight was controversial as McGregor broke his leg which directly led to the finish. Since the fight has gone down, McGregor has come out publicly and stated that he had an injury heading into the Poirier fight. But as far as “The Diamond” goes, he doesn’t care for McGregor’s excuses.

New UFC 155lbs champion Charles Oliveira is predicting that he gets a submission finish over Dustin Poirier for the UFC lightweight title. Oliveira knocked out Michael Chandler at UFC 262 in May to become the new UFC lightweight champion after former belt holder Khabib Nurmagomedov relinquished his title earlier this year. After knocking out Chandler and winning the belt, Oliveira is now poised to fight Poirier for the belt later this year after “The Diamond” stopped Conor McGregor in their trilogy fight earlier this month at UFC 264. The plan from the UFC is to have Oliveira and Poirier meet up later this year with the lightweight belt of “Do Bronx” on the line.

Jake Paul stuck to his word and gave Dustin Poirier his $100k Sleepy McGregor chain. After Poirier beat McGregor at UFC 264, Paul tweeted at Poirier to ask him if he wanted the chain which “The Diamond” did. After a few days, and the chain being shipped, Poirier took to social media to show he got the chain. He also plans on auctioning it off where the money will go to charity.

Taking to his social media on Thursday, Paul shared an image of the necklace along with a hand-written note to Poirier and his wife Jolie following their big victory over McGregor last weekend.
