UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington wants to visit The White House and drop his new gold belt on the desk of President Donald Trump. The outspoken welterweight star has made that plenty clear, both in the buildup to and fallout of his UFC 225 win over Rafael dos Anjos, which earned him the title.

Covington wants to go the White House to correct what he perceives as a pretty significant blunder by the Philadelphia Eagles. He went off on the team on the latest episode of BJPENN.COM Radio.

“They’re just a bunch of prima donna millionaires looking for a photo op,” Covington said of the Eagles. “If they want change and they think change is necessary, get off your damn knee during our National Anthem and put your time and money and effort into effecting some change. These lazy, entitled silver-spoon douche bags, I don’t see them in the inner cities. I don’t see them spending their time mentoring the troubled youth. I don’t see them spending money to build youth centers or educational facilities.”

“All I see is them taking two minutes on their million-dollar work day to disrespect the men and women who risk their lives everyday to make our country safe and free,” Covington continued. “At least you’re smart enough to do that in the shitty National Football League that nobody cares about anymore. Because if you tried that garbage at the UFC, I would jump out of the cage and beat some respect into all the Filthadelphia eagles.”

Needless to say, Covington has politics on his mind. In fact, he seems to be considering a future in the political arena — starting with his planned visit with Trump.

“I would have to throw some ideas around to make the US great again,” he said of his visit with Trump. “That’s what it’s all about. I’m addicted to winning, just like Donald Trump, you know? I’m the great American winning machine, so you know, I’ve got a lot of things that I might be able to bring to the table and help out. I just might be running for governor some day in Oregon or something. I’m definitely thinking about running for president in Brazil, because I know they need a new president. Their president got impeached.”
