Frankie Edgar has a strong message for the UFC and Conor McGregor
Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar (20-4-1 MMA) has been campaigning for a shot at current featherweight title holder Conor McGregor for some time now.
“The Answer” stepped his game up to another level this past Thursday when he posted this video targeting the Irish superstar.
Frankie recently took to Twitter where he demanded that Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta give the fans what they want and what he (Edgar) deserves.. A shot at McGregor’s 145-pound belt. Check it out:
Hey @lorenzofertitta @danawhite give the fans what they want and what I deserve This is my time @TheNotoriousMMA step up.. take the fight!

Edgar has put together an impressive five-straight win streak inside of the octagon, which includes stoppage wins over Cub Swanson, BJ Penn and most recently Chad Mendes.
Do you think McGregor should “step up” and take the fight as Frankie has requested, or should Conor defend his title against someone else? Sound off PENN Nation!
