Derek Brunson is out; Mousasi calls for Hall, Belfort or Bisping to step up
Former Strikeforce title holder Gegard Mousasi was expected to square off with rising contender Derek Brunson at July’s stacked UFC 200 event.
Unfortunately for fight fans, Brunson has apparently suffered an injury that has forced him off the July 9 fight card:
I have been informed that @DerekBrunson is out. I am waiting to find a new opponent. I have trained hard for @ufc 200. Too hard not to fight

Mousasi took to his official Twitter where he requested that Vitor Belfort, Uriah Hall or Michael Bisping step up to replace Brunson:
I think the fans would also like to see me rematch @UriahHallMMA or finally fight @vitorbelfort . @ufc let's make history!

Gegard also retweeted this fans request:
@bisping I think Michael could defend his title for the first time on @ufc 200 against @mousasi_mma Excellent fight.
