Former UFC bantamweight fighter George Roop (15-13-1 MMA) suffered a gruesome leg injury during his fight against Yoon Jun Lee at ROAD FC on Saturday in South Korea.
The injury occured when Roop landed a front kick to the body of Lee.
When George pulled his leg back he could no longer put any pressure on his foot so the referee was forced to call the bout off.
Yoon Jun Lee was declared the fights winner by way of TKO.
The bout marked Roop’s first contest since being released by the UFC. The loss served as George’s third setback in a row.
We wish George Roop a speedy recovery!
