Rumor: Georges St-Pierre set to make UFC return at UFC 206

By bjpenndotcom - August 26, 2016

Earlier this week, former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre stated that he was mentally ready for a UFC comeback.

Georges St-Pierre interview

St-Pierre, who has been on an indefinite hiatus since his 2013 split decision win over Johny Hendricks, reportedly was interested in fighting newly crowned UFC champion Tyron Woodley after his UFC 201 win over Robbie Lawler, however a matchup was never officially booked.

Now, according to Big Brand Boys, an inside source has informed them that St-Pierre will return to the Octagon at UFC 206 in Toronto on December 10th.

This comes on the heels of a rumor surfacing that St-Pierre was offered a fight in Toronto at UFC 206. In addition, Reebok recently released St-Pierre’s official fight kit on Reebok’s online Canada store.

If the above-information is true, stay tuned for an official announcement shortly.
