‘Triple C’ is fresh off his return to the cage at UFC 298 over the weekend. Back for the first time since a loss to Aljamain Sterling nearly a year ago, Cejudo faced the rising Merab Dvalishvili. ‘The Machine’ was on a tear heading into the bout, hoping to receive a title shot with a win over the former champion.

Ultimately, Dvalishvili dominated Henry Cejudo last Saturday night. While the early parts of the bout were competitive, the former champion ended the fight getting rag dolled in the wrestling department. ‘The Machine’ picked up the unanimous decision win, and it appeared that Cejudo’s fighting career was over.

Heading into UFC 298, Henry Cejudo stated that he would retire with a loss. However, he didn’t retire in the cage, leading some fans to speculate that the announcement could be saved for social media. Earlier today, Cejudo took to YouTube, to reveal that he wasn’t done fighting just yet.

In the video, Cejudo noted that the last time he lost two in a row, he went on a rampage to become UFC champion. While he’s not sure that will happen here, he also can’t retire after his performance on Saturday night. It’s not as much losing for Cejudo, as it’s the fashion in which he lost to Dvalishvili.

“I’m not f*cking leaving!” Henry Cejudo stated on his YouTube channel, recapping his UFC 298 loss to Merab Dvalishvili. “Yeah, Saturday night dude, it took me a minute. Was it all or nothing for me? Yeah, and I meant it. Or did I? Have I truly been a hypocrite to myself? Last time that I lost two times in a row, I lost to Demetrious Johnson, and I lost to Joseph Benavidez. Then, I went out and f*cking created one of the biggest rampages in UFC history.”

“I avenged my loss to Demetrious Johnson, beating T.J. Dillashaw on EPO. Taking out number one contender Marlon Moraes, and knocking out the teeth of Dominick Cruz… I’m actually a competitor. Everything I’ve set out to do, I’ve accomplished. What I’ve accomplished in combat sports has truly been second to none. Like, truly man. You guys may not like me, you may not like the persona. But one thing you will say, man, Henry Cejudo has done unachievable s*it and has lived maybe three lifetimes in his actual life.”

“…Again guys, I take the L. But I can’t take the L knowing the way I pretty much went out.” Henry Cejudo concluded. “I don’t mind the losing aspect of it. But maybe it’s just the way I went out… I cannot let it sit like this, I just cannot man.”
