Magny isn’t known for having beef with many MMA fighters, but Garry was certainly an exception. “The Future” didn’t hesitate trading barbs with Magny. Uncharacteristically, Magny had some trash talk of his own, saying he wanted to put a father-like beatdown on Garry, who responded by claiming his opponent was bragging about hitting his own children.

Recently, Edwards and Garry have butted heads as the Irishman claims he was kicked out of the gym where Edwards trains. Garry revealed the news to The Independent and says it came as a surprise as he thought having two elite welterweights training together made sense.

Granted, their time together was very brief.

The UFC’s year-end pay-per-view looks to be a crucial night for the welterweight division. In the main event of UFC 296, Leon Edwards puts his welterweight gold on the line against Colby Covington. Also featured on the card will be a 170-pound tilt between Stephen Thompson and Shavkat Rakhmonov. Now, UFC CEO Dana White has announced that Luque vs. Garry has been added to the card.

The Irishman believes Neal was never actually hurt and was simply traumatized by his head games, especially after selling the mugshot t-shirt.

After Garry beat Neil Magny at UFC 292, he called out Stephen Thompson for a fight in November or December, which he believes will happen. Following that, the plan according to UFC president Dana White, is to bring the Octagon back to Ireland for UFC Dublin and have Garry as the main event.

With that, some teammates never want to fight one another, but Garry doesn’t think that will be an issue.
