ROUSEY BFF! ‘One Day I’ll Beat Cyborg’

Watch out Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino— a new challenger has her sights set on the gold around your waist! Newly signed Marina Shafir (1-1 MMA) is looking to rack up whatever wins necessary so she can take “Cyborg” down in Invicta FC.

With such little mixed martial arts experience under her belt, Shafir is best known in the business for being one of Ronda Rousey’s best friends. Shafri and Rousey are the faces of supergroup “The Four Horsewomen” along with Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke.

Shafir recently called into the MMA Hour and was asked about a potential “Cyborg” fight. “I have to earn that fight. I get that. I know if I ask for it, she would take it in a heartbeat. But I have to work up towards that fight.”

Shafir continued, “I have to make people really believe. Because I know I believe I will eventually have that fight and I believe I will beat her. But I have to make everyone else believe that. That’s just part of the journey.”
