Israel Adesanya, the reigning UFC middleweight champion, has sent a warning to Alex Pereira ahead of UFC 276. It will be Adesanya (22-1 MMA) vs Jared Cannonier (15-5 MMA) on July 2nd at UFC 276 in the middleweight main event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Adesanya is set to defend his middleweight title against Jared Cannonier in what should be a tough test for the champ. However, throughout fight camp, he has vowed he will earn a stoppage win and now has taken it a step further.

UFC middleweight Robert Whittaker is looking to fight champion Israel Adesanya for the third time. ‘The Reaper’ is set to face Marvin Vettori at UFC Paris in September. The return will be his first bout since his unanimous decision defeat to Israel Adesanya in February. The defeat brought him to 0-2 in his series with ‘The Last Stylebender’.

Glover Teixeira thinks Israel Adesanya will avoid fighting his teammate Alex Pereira at all costs. Pereira and Adesanya fought twice in kickboxing with the Brazilian winning both including one by KO. Since then, ‘The Last Stylebender’ made the move to MMA and has become a UFC champion, this while Pereira just recently got back into MMA and is now 2-0 in the UFC. The Brazilian is set to face Sean Strickland at UFC 276 on July 2 and should he win, many expect he will face Adesanya next. However, for Teixeira, he doubts the middleweight champ will accept the fight against Pereira.

UFC champion Israel Adesanya has questioned the post-fight of Devin Haney vs George Kambosos Jr from Saturday night. In front of over 40,000 fans at Marvel Stadium in Australia, Devin Haney put on an absolute clinic to defeat George Kambosos Jr and become the undisputed lightweight champion in boxing. Many felt as if Kambosos barely even won a round with Haney somewhat making it look easy and now, the 23-year-old holds the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and The Ring titles to go alongside the WBC crown that he was able to capture way back in November 2019.

Robert Whittaker thinks he’s close to getting another crack at Israel Adesanya. Whittaker and Adesanya first met at UFC 243 when ‘The Reaper’ was the middleweight champ and ‘The Last Stylebender’ was the interim champ. It was Adesanya winning the fight by a convincing second-round KO. The pair would have their rematch at UFC 271 earlier this year and although Adesanya won again, it was by decision and a very close fight, so Whittaker believes if he defeated Marvin Vettori at UFC Paris in September he could earn him another title shot.

Luke Rockhold is hoping to share the Octagon with Israel Adesanya so he can test himself against the best. Rockhold, the former Strikeforce, and UFC middleweight champion is set to return to the Octagon at UFC 277 on July 30 against Paulo Costa. It’s his first fight since Jan Blachowicz brutally knocked him out in his light heavyweight debut. Although he has not fought since 2019, Rockhold is getting the fourth-ranked middleweight and if he wins he would be right back in the title picture.

Apparently Israel Adesanya claims he doesn’t even know where his UFC belt is right now. The UFC’s undisputed middleweight champion, Adesanya (21-1 MMA), has admitted that he feels no attachment to the very heavy championship belt and he doesn’t even know where it is.

While he’s hit quite a few stumbling blocks across the last few years, many still believe Darren Till has enough ability to become a genuine contender at either welterweight or middleweight. His association with rising star Khamzat Chimaev has helped the masses to fall into that line of thinking and all eyes are on the next few months to see if and when he’ll return to the Octagon.

This Saturday night at UFC 273, Alex Volkanovski returns to action as he puts his 145-pound title on the line against Chan Sung Jung – aka The Korean Zombie. If he wins, some have suggested it could move him pretty close to Kamaru Usman in the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings given what he’s been able to accomplish during his time in the promotion thus far.

Israel Adesanya has shared a bold prediction for the upcoming Khamzat Chimaev vs. Gilbert Burns fight. It will be at UFC 273 this coming Saturday, April 9, 2022 that Chimaev (10-0 MMA) will enter the cage with Burns (20-4 MMA) for the much anticipated welterweight match-up.

Darren Till has fired back at Israel Adesanya after the middleweight champ blasted the Brit for celebrating too much with Tom Aspinall. In the main event of UFC London, Till’s longtime friend and training partner in Aspinall submitted Alexander Volkov in the first round. After the event, Till was on top of the Octagon with Aspinall which Adesanya ridiculed him for.

Arnold Allen has responded to Israel Adesanya’s comments about his fight with Dan Hooker. The two featherweights squared off at UFC London in the co-main event. Allen dominated the contest and stopped Hooker in the first round with a flurry of punches. Despite the seeming finality of the bout, ‘The Hangman’s teammate Israel Adesanya disagreed with the stoppage.

Colby Covington agrees with Chael Sonnen that he should be next for Israel Adesanya. Covington is coming off a dominant win over Jorge Masvidal and after the event, Sonnen said the fight that made the most sense is ‘Chaos’ vs. Adesanya. He believed it would be a massive pay-per-view success and given ‘The Last Stylebender’ has basically cleared out the middleweight division the timing worked. According to Covington, he says he would be interested in it and believes the scrap makes a ton of sense.
