Despite entering the UFC 304 main event as a heavy favorite, Leon Edwards was largely dominated in Manchester. The challenger outstruck the champion on the feet, also scoring several takedowns en route to a unanimous decision win.

Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is interested in fighting Jack Della Maddalena. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ hasn’t been seen in the octagon in over a year. He last appeared in the cage at UFC 294 last October, stepping up on short notice for a middleweight showdown with Khamzat Chimaev. Ultimately, ‘Borz’ handed Kamaru Usman his third loss in a row, this time by majority decision.

Jack Della Maddalena has been called out by a fast-rising UFC welterweight. Carlos Prates is the fighter who has requested a showdown with Maddalena. Prates is fresh off a first-round knockout victory over Neil Magny this past Saturday. He will be making his way to the official UFC rankings with the next update.

Covington hasn’t fought since last December when he lost to Leon Edwards for the welterweight title. Now, as he looks to get back into the Octagon, ‘Chaos’ says he’s been in talks with the UFC to face Jack Della Maddalena next in what he says would be a No. 1 contender fight.

An image of the UFC’s war room has given fans an insight into who may be competing on the UFC 305 card in Perth, Australia. On August 17, the Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to make its return to Australia. It’ll do so with the UFC 305 card, and the popular opinion is that Israel Adesanya will return to challenge Dricus du Plessis for the UFC middleweight championship.

Jack Della Maddalena hoped to be a part of the UFC 305 card in Perth, but post-surgery complications have derailed that plan. Maddalena competed back in March at UFC 299, and while he scored a knockout win over Gilbert Burns he did not walk away unscathed. The Australian bruiser had to undergo surgery on his arm.

UFC welterweight Jack Della Maddalena has reiterated his desire to fight and defeat Shavkat Rakhmonov later this year. Earlier this month, Jack Della Maddalena secured the biggest win of his career. He beat and finished Gilbert Burns, doing so with a broken arm, to establish himself as a top contender in the welterweight division. In the immediate aftermath, he made it known that he’d be interested in taking on the seemingly unstoppable Shavkat Rakhmonov.

UFC 299 took place this past weekend and saw Jack Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA) in a welterweight bout with Gilbert Burns (22-7 MMA). The result was a KO victory at 3:43 of Round 3 for the Aussie (see that here).

Shavkat Rakhmonov is responding to the callout from UFC 299 winner Jack Della Maddalena. This past Saturday, March 9th, at UFC 299, saw Jack Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA) defeat Gilbert Burns (22-7 MMA) by KO at 3:43 of Round 3 in a welterweight bout (see that here). Maddalena also earned a $50K fight of the night bonus.

Jack Della Maddalena admits that getting past Kevin Holland was no easy task. Maddalena and Holland shared the Octagon inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in the co-main event of Noche UFC. The bout was tough to score, as both men had success in the standup but were equally as effective with their defense. Ultimately, this one went the distance and ended in a split decision. Two of the three judges scored the fight for Maddalena, awarding him the win.

A welterweight banger will serve as the co-main event of Noche UFC in September. Noche UFC is the Mexican Independence Day Card on Sept. 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The original co-main event was Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Kelvin Gastelum, but the latter was forced out of the scrap due to an injury. Now, Twitter user Stand Em Up has reported that Kevin Holland will take on Jack Della Maddalena as the new co-main event.

Bassil Hafez knew he was getting close to the UFC and was expecting something short notice to come up. Hafez was the reigning Fury FC welterweight champion and was coming off a knockout win over Evan Cutts to win the belt back in February. Since then, he had been training and when he got the call to step up on short notice at UFC Vegas 77 against Jack Della Maddalena, he jumped on it.

Jack Della Maddalena barely managed to keep his winning streak intact at UFC Vegas 77. Maddalena shared the Octagon with Bassil Hafez. Jack Della Maddalena was supposed to compete on the UFC 290 card, but after two opponents couldn’t compete, Maddalena was moved to UFC Vegas 77. His fight with Hafez went the distance and the judges were split on the result. One judge scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Hafez. That score total was overruled by the two other judges who scored the bout 29-28 for Maddalena, who won via split decision.
