Leon Edwards will meet Jack Della Maddalena in the main event of UFC London in March. ‘Rocky’ hasn’t been seen in the octagon since his rematch with Belal Muhammad in July. Despite entering the UFC 304 main event as a heavy favorite, Leon Edwards was largely dominated in Manchester. The challenger outstruck the champion on the feet, also scoring several takedowns en route to a unanimous decision win.

UFC 299 took place this past weekend and saw Jack Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA) in a welterweight bout with Gilbert Burns (22-7 MMA). The result was a KO victory at 3:43 of Round 3 for the Aussie (see that here).

A welterweight banger will serve as the co-main event of Noche UFC in September. Noche UFC is the Mexican Independence Day Card on Sept. 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The original co-main event was Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Kelvin Gastelum, but the latter was forced out of the scrap due to an injury. Now, Twitter user Stand Em Up has reported that Kevin Holland will take on Jack Della Maddalena as the new co-main event.

Jack Della Maddalena barely managed to keep his winning streak intact at UFC Vegas 77. Maddalena shared the Octagon with Bassil Hafez. Jack Della Maddalena was supposed to compete on the UFC 290 card, but after two opponents couldn’t compete, Maddalena was moved to UFC Vegas 77. His fight with Hafez went the distance and the judges were split on the result. One judge scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Hafez. That score total was overruled by the two other judges who scored the bout 29-28 for Maddalena, who won via split decision.
