Sean Strickland slams ‘f*cking clown’ Jake Paul over recent comments: “Absolute disgrace to combat sport”
Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has responded to Jake Paul.
‘Tarzan’ and ‘The Problem Child’ have been going back and forth for a few weeks now. Last month, Sean Strickland sparred with Rumble streamer Sneako, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The influencer had been training boxing for a few months and decided to face the former champion. It went about as well as one would expect.
Sean Strickland battered Sneako, even bloodying him up after the streamer threw in the towel. Quickly, many blasted the ex-UFC champion, including Jake Paul. The YouTuber-turned-boxer offered $1 million to Strickland to fight him. However, the MMA fighter later stated that while he can’t face Paul in the ring, he would love to spar with him.
That was the end of it, until last night. Jake Paul recently aimed Sean Strickland in a recent video, with ‘The Problem Child’ showing private DMs between the two fighters. Paul stated that the former UFC fighter was “lost”, and a wannabe alpha male. Just a few hours later, Strickland has responded.
In a series of posts on X, Sean Strickland slammed Jake Paul. He bashed the boxer’s low-key return, adding that he didn’t even know he was fighting on Saturday. Strickland also showed his side of the DMs with Paul, revealing that he offered the boxer a chance to fight in Texas. Just the two of them.
Former UFC champion Sean Strickland responds to Jake Paul’s recent comments
“Did you guys know Paul is fighting?! Neither did [I]…” Sean Strickland wrote on X, responding to Jake Paul’s recent comments about him. “Lmao Sam Alvey tagged me in. Was it hard to find a retired fighter to box?? You’re literally paying CANS to fight and lose to you. Is that even legal? You’re a fucking clown. Absolute disgrace to combat sport.”
In a follow-up post, Strickland added: “Coward and a liar. There are so many legal ways you can die in America. Our founding fathers killed men for less. Bring a gopro, come to my house. State your intent, break a window. I don’t call cops, I don’t press charges. I know you would… but bring the mil please”
As far as a fight between Sean Strickland and Jake Paul is concerned, it won’t be happening. However, ‘The Problem Child’ is currently slated to face the lightly-regarded Ryan Bourland this Saturday night in Puerto Rico. For only the second time in his career, Paul won’t be in the main event either.
