MMA Community reacts to Jeremy Stephens brutal knockout of Josh Emmett!
UFC featherweight Jeremy Stephens added another finish to his highlight reel tonight in Orlando scoring a savage second-round knockout victory over surging division contender Josh Emmett.
Emmett was able to drop Stephens late in round one but “Lil Heathen” was able to recover and survive to see a second round.
In round two Stephens would catch Emmett with a nasty left hook during an exchange that sent Josh crashing to the canvas. From there, Stephens would unleash some brutal ground and pound that eventually turned out the lights on the Team Alpha Male standout.
Here is how the MMA Community reacted to Jeremy Stephens thrilling knockout victory at UFC Orlando:

Damn. That illegal knee at least grazed him. And before that, there was a hard elbow to the back of the head.

Stephens gets the win in the second round (despite a blatantly illegal knee that Miragliotta didn't notice)

I saw an illegal knee

Am I crazy or was that a knee to a grounded opponent? Just replayed it 5 times and it looks like it was every time. Stephens wins via 2nd round TKO.

Woah did Stephens knee Emmett while he was grounded?

Jeremy Stephens just destroyed Josh Emmett. Wow. Looked like a possible illegal knee that led to the finish but not sure yet

Damn!!! What a knock out! @LiLHeathenMMA needs a shot for the belt! Congrats

Stephens was in killmode you can’t blame him it’s on the ref 100% https://t.co/62VQeaoFfO

Cormier was on the ball there. Several elbows to the back of the head, and the knee (whether it landed or not) was illegal. Then there's the followup shots on a visibly unconscious opponent… he is a fantastic righter, but he seems to lose control in there.#UFCOrlando

Jeremy Stephens still has that serious power, regardless of where his strikes land. If the ref lets it go, ref lets it go. #ufcorlando

I’d love to see @LiLHeathenMMA get a crack at the title. I don’t think he could take out @BlessedMMA but it would be fireworks for sure!
— Chris Taylor (@CTaylor_96) February 25, 2018
We gotta really clarify these rules, Emmet was trying to come up and wasn’t expecting to get kneed in the head.
