Watch Joe Rogan and company react to the violent finishes from Saturday’s UFC 261 event
Adam D Martin - April 26, 2021
UFC commentator Joe Rogan had some amazing reactions to some of the crazy things we saw take place this past Saturday night at UFC 261. Rogan, along with former UFC champion Daniel Cormier and veteran play-by-play man Jon Anik, were in the same booth with each other for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and the hilarities that ensued were fun to watch. The three veteran commentators enjoyed the heck out of UFC 261, and who can blame them? It was an absolutely exceptional card that featured a number of insane endings to fights, and Rogan clearly had a lot of fun watching it. Check out some of Rogan’s best reactions below.
Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier back in the commentary booth for UFC 261
Adam D Martin - April 22, 2021
UFC commentator Joe Rogan will be back in the booth for this weekend’s UFC 261 pay-per-view card alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik. Rogan, Cormier, and Anik have been the UFC’s go-to commentary team for its pay-per-view events in recent years. Rogan has been, of course, the UFC’s A-team color commentator for well over a decade and has been part of the UFC team for over 20 years. As for Cormier, he is the former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. As far as Anik goes, he has been the A-team play-by-play announcer ever since Mike Goldberg left. Betwen Rogan, Cormier, and Anik, they bring an incredible amount of knowledge and experience to the booth, so it’s not a surprise the UFC loves to use this set-up for PPVs.
Michael Bisping hoping to commentate UFC card with "The Godfather" Joe Rogan
Adam D Martin - April 4, 2021
Former UFC middleweight champion and current analyst Michael Bisping is hoping to commentate a future event with “The Godfather” Joe Rogan. Bisping has become one of the UFC’s top commentators but he generally only does the Fight Night cards alongside the likes of Brendan Fitzgerald and Paul Felder, and not the pay-per-view events which Rogan handles alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik. However, Bisping is always trying to challenge himself, and one of his goals is to commentate a PPV event with Rogan. Speaking to MMAjunkie.com, Bisping said that his dream is to commentate a UFC card and sit alongside Rogan in the commentary booth.

Adam Martin - March 24, 2021
Joe Rogan and former UFC champion Daniel Cormier will join Jon Anik in the booth for this Saturday night’s UFC 260 pay-per-view event. Rogan and Cormier have both sat alongside Anik during the last couple of pay-per-view cards, so it’s no surprise to see them both back in the booth alongside the stalwart UFC commentator Anik. Both Rogan and Cormier are two of the most popular commentators the UFC has and the promotion likes having this three-man booth alongside Anik for PPV cards.

The lightweight title will seemingly soon be up for grabs with the division’s longtime champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, poised to ride off into the sunset. Jon Anik on Joe Rogan as a commentator: 'He ain't going nowhere'
Drake Riggs - February 10, 2021
Joe Rogan’s voice has become synonymous with UFC fights. And despite recent criticism over the years, Jon Anik doesn’t see the veteran presence leaving. A mainstay as the color commentator role for UFC broadcasts during every event, Rogan would eventually take on a reduced role throughout his tenure. Thus seeing him now only work domestic pay-per-view events. Ever since Mike Goldberg’s departure in 2016, Anik has been by the podcast legend’s side through thick and thin.

Joe Rogan favors Michael Chandler in potential matchup with Conor McGregor
Tom Taylor - February 1, 2021
UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes Conor McGregor would probably sustain another loss if he was matched up with Michael Chandler. McGregor last fought in the main event of UFC 257 in January, emerging from a year-long hiatus only to be stopped by Dustin Poirier in the fight’s second round. That setback brought McGregor and Poirier to a 1-1 tie, as McGregor won their first fight by knockout back in 2014, but it still shrouded the Irishman’s future in uncertainty. Though he remains the sport’s biggest star, he’s now 1-2 in the UFC lightweight division, and is in desperate need of a victory if he intends to maintain his reputation as one of the division’s best fighters.
