VIDEO | Joe Rogan previews CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall

At this weekend’s UFC 203 pay-per-view event in Cleveland, former WWE superstar CM Punk will make his professional mixed martial arts debut. The former pro-wrestling champion will be taking on talented 24-year-old Mickey Gall (2-0 MMA) on the evening’s main card.

Prior to his signing with the UFC, which was announced on the main card of UFC 181 back in 2014, Punk had no real martial arts experience. Given this experiential deficit, he’s been given very little chance against Gall–who has only had 2 pro fights himself, but has earned first-round stoppage victories in both of those contests.

Saturday’s UFC 203 event is headlined by a heavyweight title fight featuring current champ and Cleveland native Stipe Miocic taking on former Strikeforce and DREAM title holder Alistair Overeem.
