Johnny Eblen’s girlfriend threatens to leave him with potential loss at PFL vs. Bellator: “I’m out”

By Josh Evanoff - February 22, 2024

Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen has high stakes heading into his return this weekend.

‘The Human Cheat Code’ is widely viewed as one of the greatest fighters outside of the UFC today. Last September, Johnny Eblen moved to 14-0 with a dominant knockout win over Fabian Edwards in the Bellator cage. Following the victory, he traded words with his opponent’s brother, Leon Edwards, in a moment that quickly went viral.

Now, Johnny Eblen is set to return this Saturday night in Saudi Arabia. Fighting in the co-main event of the high-profile PFL vs. Bellator pay-per-view card, he will fight Impa Kasanganay. A former UFC veteran, ‘Tshilobo’ won the Donn Davis-led company’s 2023 light-heavyweight tournament. This weekend, he will drop down to middleweight to try and upset Elben.

However, it’s a fight that is a must-win for the middleweight champion. Well, if he wants to keep his girlfriend anywany. Over the last few months, Johnny Eblen has been seen in public with a popular influencer, Rebecca J. In a social media post last month, the MMA fighter was seen buying upwards of $85,000 in gifts for the online creator with over two million followers.

As it turns out, that’s not going to be enough to keep her around. In a recent interview, the content creator was asked about Johnny Eblen’s fight going down at PFL vs. Bellator. While she’s confident that he will earn the win, she’ll be gone if he doesn’t. Yes, she’s serious.

Johnny Eblen’s girlfriend threatens to leave him with Bellator vs. PFL loss

“It was fun, it was good.” Online content creator Rebecca J stated in an interview with TheFanBus, when asked about going on a date with Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen. “[He’s spent] $85,000 [on me but] that’s not a lot for him. I don’t kiss and tell [though].”

She continued, “I think he’s going to kick ass [in his next fight]. [If he loses] then I’m out, yep. Yep. Yeah [he spent that much money on me but] he has to win. He has to win.”

For what it’s worth, Johnny Eblen is currently heavily favored in his return. According to the current betting odds from MGM, ‘The Human Cheat Code’ is currently a -500 favorite to get the job done this week. As of now, Impa Kasanganay is returning as a +360 underdog for the middleweight bout.

However, if the Bellator middleweight champion winds up losing, he’ll seemingly be leaving Saudi Arabia alone.

What do you make of this news? Are you excited for Johnny Eblen’s return at PFL vs. Bellator on Saturday? Do you believe he’ll defeat Impa Kasanganay?
