Jon Jones Makes the Cover of EA Sports UFC, to be Joined by Fan-Voted Second Fighter
One half of the two-man cover for the highly-anticipated EA Sports UFC game has been announced. That man is UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. Jones was picked based on this set of standards via the official website for the game:
The fighter we ultimately chose is one whose talent, technicality and toughness we felt best exemplified what makes us, as fans, excited to sit down with friends to watch a UFC bout, and keeps us talking about it the next day. Or week…
As for the fighter who will join him on the cover, that decision will be left to a vote as fans can go online to www.ufc.com/covervote
The 16 candidates for the cover include a host of current champions and top contender. They are Demetrious Johnson, Dominick Cruz, Urijah Faber, Jose Aldo, Benson Henderson, Georges St-Pierre, Johny Hendricks, Chris Weidman, Junior dos Santos, Chael Sonnen, Michael Bisping, Daniel Cormier, Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate and Gustafsson.
